Tanglewood is our pet friendly cabin and is a great fit for family or groups since it features a downstairs apartment. If you have no need of the apartment don’t worry. It isn’t rented out separately. Located less than 10 minutes from downtown Boone and yet quietly nestled in the woods. Please be sure to review our lease agreement. The agreement becomes binding once you reserve your cabin and your booking has been confirmed.

Diane let me stay here a couple months ago. I enjoyed sitting on the front porch and relaxing in the jacuzzi. The master bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen made it very easy to cook up some food. (Diane said the previous owner was a chef and installed the custom sink and gas stove.) Overall I really enjoyed my stay!
The driveway is a bit steep so be sure to bring a 4WD in the wintertime.

My family and I, (including two small pups) enjoy coming to this cabin every year. Very close to all of the ski resorts and tubing parks, but also a great getaway any time of year. Beautiful mountains, and lots of hiking trails. The cabin is always fully stocked, with everything you could possibly need. Not to mention Diane, is the most gracious and generous host. She is always there if you need anything in a quick pinch. She responds to texts and emails immediately. She truly does everything to make your stay enjoyable. My family and I rent homes all about, at least 4 times a year, and Diane, is by far the easiest and friendliest host. Downtown Boone is 3 minutes away, and chock-full of wonderful restaurants and grocery stores. If you are lucky enough to get snow, the private driveway makes for a wonderful sledding hill for the kiddos. The fireplace in the living room plus the wood-burning stove in the kitchen, make for the coziest environment. The outdoor grill, and the huge chef-inspired stove allow you to cook wonderful meals. Though the house is pet friendly, you would never know it. It is very well-kept and clean. I cannot recommend this place enough, and I canβt wait to go back again next year.
